Truth 1: There’s a Difference between Real Food and Faux “Phood”

Most of our general functions are out of balance due to stress, lack of sleep and poor diet. Processed foods, which I like to call “faux phood,” can also cause an imbalance as the synthetic chemicals and hydrogenated oils are viewed by our as poisons by our bodies. These combined pressures on the body cause adrenal stress, increase cortisol levels, lower HCL production and deplete minerals. As a result we need to supplement our bodies with what they cannot supply themselves under the aforementioned pressures.

So how do you tell Real from the rest? Just because food is advertised as healthy does not mean that it is healthy. Here’s some basic tips.
